[Electro Beginings!]

nice electronic beat

but weak melody needs more bass. i'd use a kick with less bass but more mid tones and high tones, but i also make trance and no electro beats.

i don't like it that much.
the gated saw which carries the melody doesn't fit to the melody.
also theres a lack of baseline carrying the mood of the theme. the way you interpreted the theme is not satisfying. the atmosphere is simply missing.

only using the theme is like trying to drive a car without a motor. it looks pretty but doesn't get you anywhere. you didn't even really try to catch the original mood in anyway did you ;)
The motor you created for your car is too weak for your car. use the contrabass string u used in the beginning and in the mid and add it under the melody to carry the original spirit would sound a lot better in my humble opinion.

but i got to say that the effects you used on this tracks are good like the distorted saws in the beginning, they carry a bit of the aggression of the theme.

needs some work but it's affordable ;)

The samples are weak

try to make something more unique instead of using standard samples, compress them, equalize them, add some reverb or something. there are countless possibilities.
anyway the strings in the beginning are great if you would have used it more maybe slicing it to peaces and rearranging it with an drum & bass beat would be great

It has some potential

Would be better if you alter the beat or the melody on parts because it becomes boring after a short time. and there's an immense lack of bass not the kick it's just missing a baseline. the few at the end doesn't really fit in my opinion.
now to the good things ;)
I like the synths you used. the one that sounds like a truck running into you is very cool.

So over all. make it less repetetive add some serious base and alter the beat and this could be quite good ;)

Hmm... yeh the bass doesn't start before 4:05. I could have added some bass for the part before the "breakdown", if you can call it that.

I dunno, I tried to make somekind of progressive trance, imo they feel all a bit repetitive. About the melody, I tried to switch with the melodies every now and then, when it felt fitting =].

especially the arps! and the hi-hats at 1:54 kick ass *-*
if you wouldn't have mentioned DK i wouldn't have noticed the parallels, but so i could really think of an underground level like in the mines or something, also because of the atmosphere and the reverbs. parts of it sound like played in a tunnel and the pads do their job quite well. good job. i like it

there was a time when i was listening heavily to d'n'b and jungle and your songs brought this time back to me, thanks for that.
it's exciting to hear such high quality stuff by someone like you and me because you could make millions with sellings this stuff, getting a label and becoming famous. i'd certainly bet on this ;D
